In this role, you'll:
Be working with the Cyber Portfolio Delivery (CPD) team delivering the FY25-27 Transport Cyber Security Program. The program delivers dedicated cyber uplift, risk reduction, and security focused transformation across all of Transport for NSW through a bespoke SAFe Agile delivery model designed specifically for cyber environments.
Lead Cyber Solution Architecture to shape, govern, and guide the delivery of critical cyber security uplift initiatives. Working across multidisciplinary agile teams, you will design secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that reduce organisational cyber risk while aligning with CISO led strategy, regulatory obligations, and enterprise architecture standards.
Operating at a senior level across the organisation you will engage with technical and business stakeholders to gain an understanding of what enterprise capabilities look like and their viewpoints/concerns to identify risks and gaps and turn them into actionable items for delivery teams.
Fixed term full-time opportunity to end of September 2026 | Your home base will be at Macquarie Park with Hybrid work arrangements.

About you
You are someone who thrives in large and complex environments and can balance delivery velocity with robust security architecture, navigate legacy constraints, and ensuring solutions are both technically sound and operationally sustainable. You possess:
* Extensive experience as a Solution Architect in cyber security, infrastructure, or complex enterprise environments.
* Deep understanding of security architecture across domains such as IAM, network segmentation, cloud security, OT/ICS security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
* Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards for Information Technology as well as Operational Technology (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Essential Eight, IEC62443, Zero Trust).
* Demonstrated experience designing solutions that meet audit, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence decision making and simplify complexity for diverse audiences.
* Experience working in governance heavy or regulated environments is highly regarded.
* Relevant certifications (SABSA, TOGAF, Cloud Certifications, CISSP) are advantageous.
