Location: Wheelers Hill Campus. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time vacancy commencing 1 January 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach Year 12 Mathematics with engaging, innovative learning practices and use of current technologies.
- Evaluate students' skills to create a versatile, individualized curriculum that addresses their needs and goals.
- Implement learning programs based on research into how students learn, using formative assessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhance engagement.
- Continuously refine teaching strategies using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.
- Set high expectations to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
- Model and demonstrate the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience teaching VCE Mathematics is preferred.
- Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students’ academic and personal growth.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, keeping up-to-date with current trends in Mathematics and maintaining a proactive attitude.
- Teaching Qualification with specialized qualifications in Mathematics and current VIT Registration.
