Field Crop Cultivation Professional
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with the cultivation of banana crops on our farm. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with farm supervisors to receive assigned tasks and ensure seamless execution.
* Collect and maintain equipment for daily use, adhering to strict safety protocols.
* Conduct thorough machinery checklists to guarantee optimal performance.
* Clean and maintain equipment to prevent damage and ensure efficiency.
* Participate in harvesting bananas, ensuring high-quality yields.
* Hang, de-hand, and wash bananas to meet industry standards.
* Sort and pack bananas for distribution, emphasizing quality control.
* Label and stamp produce accurately, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Weigh and stack bananas efficiently, minimizing waste.
* Store supplies in designated areas, promoting organization and accessibility.
* Operate machinery for various tasks, including bagging, pruning, weeding, and more, while adhering to safety guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as physical stamina for manual labor. Previous experience in agriculture or related fields is advantageous but not essential.
