We believe true hospitality is about turning small gestures into heartwarming moments and are looking for a Guest Service Agent.Located in the heart of Hobart, this 221-room premium hotel offers an exceptional location, unique design, outstanding service, and an exciting dining concept.As a Guest Service Agent, no two days are the same. You will assist our guests with all aspects of their arrival and departure experience, including check-in, check-out, luggage assistance, valet parking, and responding to guest requests - creating unforgettable heartfelt moments.Join us, and become a Heartist.Job ResponsibilitiesBe the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every time.Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests.Strive to provide total customer satisfaction consistently.Take initiative to ensure positive, productive, and professional interactions with guests (internal or external).Log all guest requests to ensure they are met within established timeframes.Assist and direct guests with local attractions and directions.Securely store and deliver guest luggage.Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and guest experience.Assist with valet parking as required.QualificationsPrevious customer service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.Energetic, team-focused, and proactive attitude.Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.Enthusiasm to connect with guests and listen to their stories.Ability to provide prompt and efficient service, both in person and over the phone.Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.Knowledge of Opera PSM is a bonus.A full Driver's Licence.Willingness and availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.Additional InformationIn return, we offer:ALL Heartist Membership - Discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwide.Family & Friends Discounts - On a range of accommodation, services, and events.Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Loyalty Program - Earn status and reward points on worldwide stays.Learn Your Way - Access to industry-leading training platforms for career development.A fun and supportive team environment.Note: To succeed in this role, you must have the rights to work in Australia.
