About the role
We are seeking a friendly, professional and experienced full time Medical Secretary to join our team at Central Victorian Cardiology in Bendigo, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the overall operations of our cardiology practice.
What you'll be doing
* Working directly with one of our cardiologists and their existing team
* Greeting and welcoming patients, both in-person and on the phone
* Scheduling and managing patient referrals and appointments
* Inputting and maintaining accurate patient information
* Liaising with other healthcare professionals
* Managing incoming telephone calls, faxes and emails
* Managing patient accounts, invoicing and receipting
What we're looking for
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and manage a varied workload
* The ability to work harmoniously with colleagues in a team environment
* Proven medical administration experience
