Inventory Manager Role
We are seeking an Inventory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, costs, and returns. This role involves planning, problem-solving, teamwork, and building good relationships, making it rewarding for someone with the right skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage stock levels, costs, and returns by developing and implementing effective inventory management strategies
* Receipt, dispatch, store, issue, and deliver materials and supplies safely, ensuring minimal waste and optimal use of resources
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, stock, and materials re-ordering processes
* Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely reporting and analysis of inventory data
* Work collaboratively in a small team with a focus on high-quality customer service, meeting site service standards
Requirements:
* Forklift truck license or equivalent experience
* Significant experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehousing, with a proven track record of success
* Proficiency in MS Office, with expertise in Excel and data analysis
* Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interpret technical information
* A structured approach to tasks, with attention to detail and accuracy
