Our client is a manufacturing company who specialise in supplying fasteners to the Oil & Gas sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Sales Executive to join their WA operation.
Reporting to the Business Development Director, the primary focus of the role is to account manage existing clients and generate new business opportunities with a main focus on the Oil & Gas sector. You will also be responsible for the quoting/pricing of new jobs and providing technical advice for new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Increase sales by developing new client relationships
* Provide technical advice on new job specifications
* Quoting/Pricing on new job orders
* Take calls from all new enquiries and promote the company's product range
* Working to sales and revenue based targets
* Monitor and advise customers of every sale and its progress through to delivery
* Achieve the budget as set out
* Represent the company at tradeshows and various networking events
* Prepare/present financial and sales reports to Senior Management
* Any such other duty as may be assigned from time to time
Skills and experience required:
* Business development/sales experience, ideally gained in the Oil & Gas sector
* Proven experience in account management and relationship building
* Experience gained in the Fasteners industry
* Strong technical aptitude
* Ability to prioritise own workload to plan own working week
* Current WA driving licence
* Team player
