The role
The Project Engineer on the project will assist with coordination of on-site construction engineering activities to ensure short-term planning and programming is completed in conjunction with site supervision. You will get to learn and develop your skillset across structure, finishes, facade & services which is excellent for career advancement.
Duties
- Assist in technical review of plans
- Assist with monthly reports
- Attend project meetings as required
- Manage the administration of all site registers
- Manage site inspections
- Support the Site Manager in program activities
- Provide input around procurement issues
Ideal applicant
- Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or trade qualified with significant construction experience
- Residential experience will be considered advantageous
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methodology, project management principles and project delivery methods
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
- Good commercial acumen and analytical thinking
