Tailings Engineer Role

The role involves providing technical direction for tailings design studies on multi-disciplinary projects, reviewing work and deliverables, and interfacing with client leads and external subject matter experts.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mining Engineering is required.
* Proven experience on tailings/mine waste projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment is crucial.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with innovative solution development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead risk assessments, including Quantitative Risk Assessment.
* Mentor junior engineers within the team.
* Develop solutions meeting client-based standards and local/international guidelines.
* Mitigate and manage risk in the design process associated with cost estimation.
