Mother’s Helper / Household Manager – Full Time (Ballandean, QLD)
$35–$40/hr + super + leave | Start ASAP | 12-month commitment
A warm, active rural family is seeking a reliable and nurturing Mother’s Helper / Household Manager to support three children across shared care. The role is based between a sheep/cattle property and vineyard, offering a unique lifestyle opportunity.
Hours (approx. 76 hrs/fortnight):
Week 1 includes long days (Thurs–Sun 7am–7pm), with split shifts Tues/Wed and a shorter Monday.
Week 2 is mostly off (only Monday morning).
Some flexibility required around school schedules.
About the role:
You’ll be supporting daily routines, school runs, activities and helping keep the household organised. There is a mix of shared care with Mum and some sole care (mainly with the youngest child later in the week).
The children:
* 10yo boy – energetic, kind, with ADHD & Autism (needs calm, structured support)
* 7yo boy – curious, affectionate and enjoys helping and learning
* 4yo girl – creative, playful and loves imaginative activities
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience with ADHD and/or Autism
* Is calm, patient and proactive
* Enjoys outdoor/rural living
* Can confidently care for multiple children
Duties include:
* School/kindy drop-offs & pick-ups
* Activity transport
* Meal prep + lunchboxes
* After-school routines (homework, play, baths)
* Light household tasks (laundry, tidying, errands)
* Planning fun, age-appropriate activities

Requirements:
* Blue Card, Police Check
* First Aid & CPR
* 2+ years experience
