Job Description
The Cultural Heritage and Biodiversity Specialist will support the aspirations of Traditional Owners regarding biodiversity planning and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver monitoring programs and analyze photo data and physical environment to inform conservation strategies.
* Collaborate with Traditional Owner groups to advance their interests in natural resource management.
* Liaise with stakeholders to build relationships and promote opportunities for Traditional Owners in biodiversity management.
* Develop and maintain networks to strengthen partnerships between government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of cultural heritage and native title, as well as experience in traditional owner settlement agreements and First Nations community capacity-building. You will also be able to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
