Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to employees and maintain the stability of our IT environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting business systems, and ensuring users receive timely and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 1–2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
* Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and standard business applications
* Troubleshoot issues related to Windows environments, email, and productivity tools
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
* Assist with network connectivity issues, printers, and shared resources
* Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and system changes
* Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when required
* Support basic IT asset management and equipment setup for new employees
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
* Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi)
* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize effectively
* Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in an IT support or help desk role
* Experience with Active Directory or similar user management systems
* Familiarity with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or Google Workspace
* Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent)
