Job Title: Teacher - Visual Art
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate teacher to join our school community as a Visual Arts Specialist.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality visual arts education to students in Years 7-12, leading the Visual Arts Program of Excellence, and working collaboratively with partner primary schools to foster development within the program.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a relevant teaching qualification and current full registration or provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
Additionally, teachers working in Education and Care Services require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach visual art from Years 7-12, focusing on developing students' creativity and technical skills.
* Lead the Visual Arts Program of Excellence, including planning and implementing curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing feedback.
* Work collaboratively with partner primary schools to develop and implement strategies that enhance the Visual Art Program of Excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess:
* A relevant teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching.
* Current full registration or provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
* An exemption card issued by Blue Card Services (for teachers working in Education and Care Services).
