The Batchelor Institute is seeking a Business Lecturer to deliver quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of innovative VET programs underpinned by the institute's Both-ways principles of practice.
Job Description
The Lecturer Business will be responsible for delivering VET programs in various contexts, including remote locations and workplace delivery. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic VET educational theories and be able to determine their applicability to the learning needs of individuals and groups.
* Demonstrate awareness of VET educational theories and determine their applicability to the learning needs of individuals and groups.
* Contribute to the development of resources and programs based on the institute's Learning and Teaching Framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant vocational qualifications in the specialist teaching area, at least to the level of program being delivered combined with 3 or more years industry/professional/vocational experience.
* A minimum vocational teaching qualification Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110, TAE40116 or TAE40122 or higher.
* Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, Vocational Education and Training, including managing student progression.
