As a key contributor to Oracle’s momentum, you will help future customers reimagine their potential by leveraging our cutting-edge solutions. This role plays a significant part in the success of Oracle’s Retail Global Industry Unit (RGIU) across APAC. As a vital member of the APAC Sales Consulting team, you will be responsible for supporting business development and driving successful sales campaigns through your retail industry knowledge and Oracle solution expertise. Additionally, this role offers opportunities to contribute to cross-functional initiatives including Product Strategy, Marketing, Alliances, and Consulting. Candidate Profile Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field. 10 years of experience in merchandising, sales consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales within the retail sector. Deep knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandising solutions, including functional and technical capabilities. Knowledge of wider Oracle Retail solutions a plus but not essential. Strong understanding of retail business processes, especially merchandising, inventory, supply chain, and pricing strategies. Mandatory professional level English. Exceptional solution positioning and demonstration skills. Strong teamwork abilities and excellent communication skills. Excellent time management and proactive leadership capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work globally across cultures and in virtual teams. Proven track record in building and maintaining both internal and external relationships. Strong personal drive with a passion for innovation and improvement. Travel & Territory Assignment While your focus will typically be a subset of the full APAC region, flexibility to support other territories as required is essential. Regular travel may be necessary based on engagement requirements. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert to clients, providing in-depth knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandising solutions, including Merchandising Operations Management, Pricing, Invoice Matching, Sales Audit, Supplier Collaboration and Inventory Management. Present understanding of retail industry trends and best practices, while showcasing Oracle Merchandising and AI/ML solutions to address key business challenges. Lead functional aspects of the sales process as a business and solution expert. Engage and influence senior stakeholders through compelling presentations, relationship building, demonstrations, and clear communication of Oracle’s value proposition. Provide detailed and persuasive responses to RFIs, RFPs, and needs analysis requests. Manage and run detailed discovery workshops with prospect to gain understanding of their business strategies and pain points. Manage large or complex sales opportunities requiring innovative and strategic solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors in the Retail Planning, Supply Chain and AI/ML market. Foster strong team collaboration, often in virtual environments, while actively sharing expertise within the organization. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Partners to drive lead generation activities and facilitate growth within the APAC region. Qualifications Career Level - IC5
