You will support leaders with coaching, talent planning, and change management, while championing team member experience, engagement, and inclusion. Ever since our formation we’ve never been content settling for the norm; we’re constantly evolving and challenging the status quo, inspired by the restless few who influence style, shape the future and strive to be 1% better everyday.Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesChampion LSKD’s operating principles and lead with integrity, embodying a hungry, humble, and smart mindsetPartner with leaders to align business priorities with effective people strategiesCoach managers on leadership, team effectiveness, and performance improvement plansManage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary mattersDrive initiatives to boost engagement, wellbeing, and a values-driven cultureTrack and enhance completion of LSKD learning programs.Ensure compliance with NES, GRIA, WHS, and other relevant legislation.Lead talent initiatives including workforce planning, succession, and internal mobilityUse data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvementAct as a trusted advisor for ER matters, including Fair Work Australia issuesDevelop and implement compliant, culture-aligned people policies and procedures.Provide sound input surrounding HR systems, award interpretation, and employment agreementsNavigate restructures and organisational design with empathy and complianceGuide on enterprise agreements in collaboration with legal and operations teams(Preferred) Apply NZ employment law knowledge where applicableWhat You BringA strong people-first mindset with the ability to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships at all levelsProven experience (3+ years) in a generalist HR or People Partner role, ideally in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environmentA commercial lens on HR — you understand how people strategy drives business resultsStrong interpersonal and communication skills — you're a connector, listener, and influencerHigh emotional intelligence and empathy — balancing care with outcomesA passion for coaching leaders, driving development, and building team effectivenessResilience and adaptability in dynamic, ever-changing environmentsA data-informed approach to diagnosing issues and tracking successDeep knowledge of Australian employment legislation; familiarity with NZ law is a plusExperience with modern awards, employment contracts, and enterprise agreementsA collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a track record of driving organisational changeTertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related fieldProficiency with HRIS platforms and a knack for simplifying systems and processesBonus Points If You HaveExperience supporting restructures, workforce planning, and role designExposure to the New Zealand employment landscapeA passion for culture, inclusion, and engagementSo what do you need to get the gig?
