Redpath Partners have been strategically working with this client, building out the Design and Project Management teams as they embark on a growth trajectory due to national portfolio expansion.
We are seeking another Design Manager to join this dynamic team, reporting into the Head of Design. Working autonomously, Design Managers will interface with Development, Marketing and Operations team to understand assets: greenfield and brownfield sites across ANZ; metropolitan and regional landmark sites. Creating Design briefs before extending to Architects and Interior Designers for tender. Oversight of design and documentation process externally, this individual will ensure projects are set up for success and delivery on time and within budget. Overseeing numerous projects throughout the life of design and construction, working closely with the PM team. Lead numerous projects circa $3ml - $30ML construction value each, reporting into Head of Design.
Ideal skillset will include:
Architect/Interior Designer who has traversed to Design Manager on the owner/asset holder, or D+C sector would be ideal.
5-10 years experience, Hospitality Developments highly sought after.
Excellent Relationship management experience, Technical and Construction expertise.
High awareness of Design, Buildability, Cost and Risk.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Interstate travel may be required.
