About the Role
De Bruyn’s Transport, a proud TruckSafe Accredited Tasmanian business, is seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Operator to join our Hobart team.
Based at our Moonah depot this full-time role is responsible for assisting with daily yard operations, including the safe loading, unloading, and movement of freight. You’ll play a key role in keeping our busy depot running smoothly while maintaining our commitment to safety and service excellence.
This position offers a stable, long-term career with opportunities to complete Nationally Accredited Training and gain a Heavy Vehicle Licence in the future.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts and handle freight safely and efficiently
* Assist with vehicle loading and unloading
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment
* Support team operations and communicate effectively with drivers and office staff
* Follow all company safety procedures and standards
What We’re Looking For
* Current Forklift Licence
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Punctual, reliable, and responsible
* High levels of attention to detail
* Team player with good communication skills
