We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, compassion, and teamwork to everything they do — someone who wants to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values both professional growth and personal wellbeing.
The Mental Health Virtual Care Centre (MHVCC) is currently seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a community-based Rehabilitation Program.
Using a 12- week step-up/step-down model, the program will support a small case load of consumers who would benefit from intensive (daily support Monday – Friday) rehabilitation interventions to prevent a hospital admission or transition home after discharge.
The MDT comprises of a Clinical Manager, Senior Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurses, and a Lived Experience Peer Worker.
The Senior Occupational Therapist will plan, coordinate and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised rehabilitation knowledge to ensure high quality service provision to mental health consumers of the SESLHD Mental health Virtual Care Centre consistent with NSW Health, SESLHD policies, procedures and standards.
The program employs a hybrid model, combining face-to-face assessments with telehealth appointments based on clinical suitability.
The MHVCC operates as a district-wide service, primarily located at 15 Kensington Street, Kogarah
