Role Details: Location: Richmond, VIC Contract: 6-month contract with possible extension Hourly Rate: $602.55 per day + superannuation Start Date: ASAP Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with WFH flexibility Reporting to senior leaders in the CFO Division, you will provide expert financial leadership to develop effective strategies, ensure compliance, and oversee reporting. You will bridge operational needs with financial guidance to enable informed decision-making. As a key team leader, you will have delegated authority to resolve complex issues, manage risks, and lead team members and contractors with control, planning, and performance management. Key Responsibilities: Deliver end-of-month outputs for assigned groups, ensuring quality and timeliness. Manage internal and external stakeholders, build trusted partnerships, and assist with planning, strategy development, and risk mitigation. Lead the implementation of financial decisions and oversee the budget process. Develop and update financial policies and procedures. Initiate and implement innovations and improvements to existing business practices to enhance efficiency. Lead assigned projects and collaborate across the organization to achieve outcomes. Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to your team. Undertake complex work to deliver quality outcomes across finance functions. Exercise independence in engaging in complex problem-solving and issues management within financial functions. Make sound decisions and judgments to produce high-level policy advice and operational support. Coordinate and manage detailed or sensitive projects impacting strategic or operational outcomes.
