Qualifications and Responsibilities
* Tertiary degree level qualification in a relevant field
* High level analytical problem-solving and commercial acumen
* Commercial Supply Chain Management experience within a consumer product business
* Experience with food retail and/or multi-outlet industry preferred
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build strong business relationships with suppliers, stores, internal departments
* Demonstrated track record of strong negotiating performance
* High work ethic – with a "can do" attitude
* Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
* Solutions focused approach
* Recommend and execute supply strategies to deliver sustained competitive advantage
* Continually develop industry knowledge of products in your portfolio
* Develop and foster strong business relationships with key suppliers to deliver continuous and sustainable outcomes
* Regularly review supplier performance, ensuring service standards are met
* Work as part of a cross functional team on New Product Development or other related business initiatives
* Provide effective, insights led, information on price levels and adjustments to key stakeholders
* Continually investigate and recommend alternative sources and methods of supply to maximise profitability and effectiveness
* Implementation of rigorous analysis/strategic thought on key items to deliver long-term strategic competitive advantage to KFC
