Primary Purpose of the position:

* Lead the review, development and implementation of business processes and systems improvement.

* Lead Service Reviews to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties: Specific duties are detailed in the Operations section of the Position Description attached below.

The applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the planning, identification, documentation, review and analysis of business processes and business requirements.
* Highly developed project and data management skills and experience in reporting tools.
* Highly developed project governance skills including contract management, procurement and negotiation skills.
* Exceptional people management capabilities demonstrated through experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and in the supervision and mentoring of staff.

* Ability to facilitate successful change management in a complex organisational setting.

* Ability to design and implement business processes and system configurations, to be capable of writing standard reports using sound written communication skills.

Qualifications:

1. A Degree or equivalent 8 years’ experience in Project Management, Information Technology, Accounting or Engineering.

2. It is mandatory to possess and maintain at least a current Class C driving licence. Failure to retain such licence may be grounds for dismissal.

Salary and conditions: Grade 16 in Council’s salary system ($97,801.60 - $109,537.48 per annum) depending upon qualifications and experience, plus 12% Superannuation. This position is Full Time - 35 hours per week with a monthly Rostered Day Off.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.

Prior to commencement the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Functional Assessment which includes an alcohol and other drug screening and a hearing test.
