The Opportunity
As a key leader in Campus Development and Services, under the broad direction of the Senior Strategic Planning Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and review of the University's strategic campus planning documents, including campus master plans, design policies, and standards.
In this senior role, you will lead planning for new major projects and initiatives, preparing business cases with design and cost estimates, as well as funding and planning applications. You will also contribute to the University's Strategic Asset Management Plan, collaborating with key stakeholders to sustainably create, utilise, maintain, renew, or dispose of assets.
You will:
 * Lead the development and implementation of campus master plans and design standards, ensuring alignment with UniSC's strategic goals and stakeholder needs;
 * Manage the design and planning phases of capital projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and reconfigurations, from concept through documentation and cost estimation;
 * Develop business cases and funding applications for major infrastructure projects, incorporating design, sustainability, and financial considerations;
 * Oversee procurement processes such as tenders and expressions of interest, ensuring compliance with UniSC policies and delivering value for investment.
About you
You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in architecture, urban design, or strategic facilities planning, ideally within the educational or public sector. You bring extensive experience in master planning, capital project design, and stakeholder engagement, adept at translating strategic objectives into actionable development plans.
You will possess:
 * Relevant tertiary qualifications in architecture, urban design, town planning, or strategic facilities planning;
 * Extensive experience in master planning and capital project delivery, including design documentation, stakeholder engagement, and business case development;
 * Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, BIM, and project management software;
 * Expertise in procurement and contract management, with sound understanding of risk, compliance, and sustainability principles;
 * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and lead across diverse stakeholder groups;
 * Working knowledge of the higher education sector and the regulations governing university campus facilities
