Referral Oncologist Opportunity
We are welcoming board-certified or residency-trained oncologists to join our dedicated team in a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.
Come and work with a vibrant and enthusiastic team in the New Forest. We are a large, well-established, multi-disciplinary, small animal referral hospital offering secondary and tertiary referrals. Our caseload is challenging and varied, and we have specialist-led services in surgery, internal medicine & oncology, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and radiology.
You will work alongside a medicine and oncology team boasting three ECVIM Diplomates and a dedicated oncology nurse, as well as internal medicine residents, clinicians, and a large multidisciplinary nursing team. We have all the usual facilities and equipment expected within a large referral hospital, including a five-theatre surgical facility that opened in twenty-twenty-two.
Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve and expand the care we provide. Working with us means having the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table and directly contribute to the growth and direction of our practice.
What We're Looking For
* You must be either an ECVIM or ACVIM Diplomate or have completed an approved residency program and be an existing MRCVS or eligible to work in private practice in the UK.
* The ideal candidate will work two days per week, though less could be negotiated (no on-call commitments).
