In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with young people aged 15-24 and support them in building their skills, confidence, and readiness for work. You will deliver tailored programs designed to help clients become independent and employable workers.
* You will work closely with your caseload to identify their individual barriers and develop strategies to maximize opportunities.
* With a focus on job-readiness, you will guide young people into work through regular engagement appointments and provide practical support with resume creation, driver’s license acquisition, skill development, and training/employment links.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Job Readiness: Improve the job-readiness of young job seekers by providing guidance and support.
* Client Engagement: Deliver regular engagement appointments to guide young people into work.
* Support Services: Provide practical tasks such as resume creation, driver’s license acquisition, skill development, and training/employment links.
* Barrier Identification: Understand individual barriers to maximize opportunities.
* Multitasking: Multi-task, stay organized, and maintain accurate records.
* Liaison: Liaise with local businesses and employers to secure work experience and job opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
