Service Support Officer - Veterans Mental Health - Administration/Medical Receptionist $39 - $45 an hour Super Government Department role, long term contract Full time position ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source an experienced Administration Officer (Service Support Officer) to work within a Mental Health Practice working with Veterans. This is initially a 12 month contract at an APS3 level. The Service Support Officer will provide operational and administrative support to the service delivery teams which may include a mix of front reception, administration, procedural, information technology and other service delivery activities. Duties: Provide front-of-house and administrative support, including data entry, record keeping, and coordination of client referrals. Act as the first point of escalation for enquiries from clients, providers, and stakeholders. Provide client service support at initial point of contact, including meeting, greeting and streaming clients to the appropriate service channel, completing simple first contact resolution enquiries, identifying and prioritising clients who are potentially vulnerable, in distress or who have accessibility issues and escalating potential issues as required Support the delivery of group programs and workshops through effective administration. Undertake financial tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling payments, and tracking expenditure. Manage office operations including assets, IT, travel, and property resources. Mandatory Requirements: Demonstrated experience within business operations, supporting service delivery within a health service and or a government environment, and strong written and verbal communication experience Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencement.
