Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Specialist in Infectious Diseases to deliver high-quality clinical services and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with infectious diseases.
* Develop and implement effective infection control and prevention policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
* Contribute to research and education in Infectious Diseases, promoting best practices and advancing medical knowledge.
Requirements
* Hold FRACP (or equivalent qualification) and be registrable as a specialist in Infectious Diseases with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the relevant authority or association.
* The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires us to seek a 'working with children check' prior to appointment.
* This role is classified as a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk position.
* A probationary period may apply, and pre-employment checks will be conducted.
