This Agency has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead and manage People and Culture functions to ensure they deliver its strategic priorities and retain its reputation as an employer of choice. The role has overall responsibility for the effective management and delivery of the full range of P&C functions and activities to support and achieve the Agency's goals and strategic objectives as a world class cultural institution and an employer of choice.
In addition to the 's requirements, elements of the P&C function, such as payroll services, are offered to a small group of clients as part of the Agency's Cultural Corporate Shared Services Centre. (CCSSC)
The role requires extensive experience, strategic leadership, vision and planning. The Head of People and Culture will lead and manage the development and delivery of business and audience-oriented people, culture and workplace relations programs and services to the Agency to meet its strategic ambitions. The position is central to contributing to the creation of a culture within the Agency that sees effective and innovative people and culture and workplace relations policies and practices as essential tools for delivering the Agency's mission. The incumbent will establish and manage a cohesive multi-disciplinary team which provides high quality human resource and workplace relations advice and determines appropriate solutions to meet the business requirements of the Agency, CCSSC clients and its organisational units. Culture building is at the essence of the position, creating and managing productive working relationships with all areas of the Agency to achieve overall goals and to make advantageous human resource investment decisions, in line with the directions of the APS.
You will lead and manage change, analyse performance, and take responsibility for continuous improvement processes that hone the Agency's important HR assets to a high performing, versatile and resilient workforce.
