About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex transformation and regulatory & compliance initiatives across our organisation. This role sits within the Transformation & Technology function and works closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads and senior stakeholders to define, plan and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
The Senior Business Analyst will lead analysis activities across large and high-risk initiatives, often operating in environments with regulatory, compliance and operational complexity. This role requires strong planning capability, confidence engaging at executive level, and the ability to work effectively across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Working as part of an inclusive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex initiatives
* Operate effectively within Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
* Plan and manage scope, dependencies, risks and deliverables
* Engage and influence senior and executive stakeholders, including clear and concise written communication
* Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical business and system solutions
* Define and document business requirements, user stories and process models
* Lead and coordinate testing activities, including UAT planning and execution
* Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities
* Provide coaching and mentoring support to other Business Analysts within the team
* Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards, tools and ways of working
What will you bring?
* Significant experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex initiatives
* Strong experience working across Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Demonstrated strength in planning, organisation and delivery management
* Proven executive-level stakeholder management capability
* Experience working within banking regulated and compliance-driven environments
* Solid experience with testing and quality assurance activities
* Experience delivering process improvement or automation initiatives
* High standard of written and verbal communication
* Experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics or Salesforce
* Exposure to UX/UI concepts, including wireframing is desirable
* IIBA or equivalent business analysis certification is desirable
