Asia eCommerce and ANZ Channel Marketing Leader
Location: 3M North Ryde, New South Wales, Australia
3M Australia are seeking a dynamic and strategic eCommerce Marketing and Channel Activation Marketing Leader to lead and develop our eCommerce marketing framework, strategy, and plan for our business group in Asia, and develop and execute channel marketing programs across both Australia and New Zealand.
This role requires a visionary leader who can drive growth and innovation across complex go-to-market models and channel partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development: Create and implement an eCommerce marketing framework, strategy, and plan tailored for the business group in Asia.
Vision and Project Alignment: Develop and socialize strategic vision and projects aligned with priority channel partners across complex GTM models, including eMarketplace, PurePlay, Brick & Click and Omnichannel models, in collaboration with KA, Channel, and Division teams to drive POS growth.
eCommerce Evangelism: Serve as the chief eCommerce evangelizer across the business group and divisions to guide investment and attainment plans.
Content Pipeline Management: Influence and guide the end-to-end content pipeline to deliver assets to channel partners across GTM models.
Plan Execution: Drive eCommerce plan attainment through conversion tactical plans, product presence, merchandising, and demand generation programs via joint business planning and test & learn execution.
Program Measurement: Implement and champion processes to measure, benchmark, and track key eCommerce programs.
Digital Shelf Optimization: Identify, select, deploy, and maintain digital shelf tools, technologies, and capabilities to optimize online catalogs.
Best Practices Development: Develop and share best practices through playbooks, online, and in-person training sessions.
Thought Leadership: Provide eCommerce and Product Experience Management thought leadership focused on strategy, best practices, trends, technology, and process improvements.
External Analysis: Direct and conduct external analysis related to trends, value chain, situation analysis, and competitive intelligence tied to business group and divisional strategy for eCommerce optimization.
Budget Management: Manage budgets, track campaign performance, and recap where applicable.
Talent Development: Collaborate with HR to develop a marketing talent pipeline for eCommerce within the business group.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performance team, including direct and indirect reports.
ANZ Program Development: Develop and execute ANZ channel marketing programs.
Budget Planning: Establish and manage budgets, including MDF/CS budget planning and program execution for key channel partners.
Sales Collaboration: Work with ANZ sales leaders and channel sales reps to execute aligned programs.
Joint Business Planning: Co-develop JBP for key channel partners with country sales leaders.
Training Execution: Plan and execute channel partner trainings both online and offline.
Marketing Calendar Development: Develop a marketing calendar with internal stakeholders.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate and coordinate cross-functional impacts or decisions relative to the area of responsibility.
Data Utilization: Utilize data to improve go-to-market tactics and prioritization decision-making processes.
Supervision and Development: Provide direct supervision to country-level marketers, including objective setting, performance management, development, motivation, training, coaching, and leading for change.
Qualifications And Experience Required
Master's degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated experience in eCommerce marketing strategy and execution.
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing strategy and execution.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in digital marketing and eCommerce, preferably in a B2B environment, with a strong digital focus and customer-facing roles.
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
Knowledge of the Asia B2B eCommerce industry, as well as industrial eCommerce and digital marketing.
Experience of activating B2B brand with Marketplace players like eBay, Lazada, Shopee and Amazon.
Experience in activating varied GTM models like Pure Play, Marketplace and Brick & Click Operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage high-performance teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in the market of Asia, particularly in Korea, Japan and South East Asia region.
Proven ability and experience to effectively manage international team members and work in a large matrixed organization, coordinating with global, regional and country teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in budget management and performance tracking.
Familiarity with digital shelf tools and technologies.
Membership of industry bodies like Australian Marketing Institute, and B2B eCommerce Association preferred.
