**About the role**:
Kick start your career in Safety! We are seeking a motivated individual, passionate about health, safety, environment and wellbeing, with great organisational skills and high attention to detail to join our team us as a
**Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Field Officer**.
This position is fulltime, working
**Monday - Friday** from our head office located in
**Perth Airport** with travel to the
**Pilbara to work** in-field also required (approx. 10 days per month).
Your tasks will include supporting:
- The maintenance of WHS recording systems and registers
- Implementation of **RHG’s **WHS management Systems and **Think Safe** and **Work Secure behaviours**:
- **In-field WHS support** including regular workplace inspections and employee interactions
- Workplace incident response
- WHS and wellness initiatives to raise safety awareness and drive engagement
- Compliance of WHS laws (Reviewing policy, procedures, standards, forms, and templates, etc.)
**About you**:
It all sounds outstanding doesn’t it, so what do we expect of you?
- **Cert IV** in **Work Health and Safety** (BSB41419) or equivalent **Allied Health** **qualifications** and/or **experience** highly desired
- **Rail Safe Working **qualifications and/or experience desired

- **Full Drivers License **required
- Show initiative and proactivity
- **First Aid Certificate **highly desired
- A pleasant, enthusiastic personality
- A strong communicator who can work with staff to resolve WHS enquiries
