Project Manager for Complex Infrastructure Projects
The role involves leading the delivery of water, sewage, and waste services infrastructure projects.
As a project manager, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from procurement to commissioning and validation, ensuring outcomes that meet community needs and demonstrate value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
* Capital Works Planning and Programming: Lead assessment, planning, and scheduling of major water, sewage, and waste infrastructure projects, influencing capital expenditure outcomes and ensuring readiness for delivery.
* End-to-End Project Delivery Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of critical projects, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and post-project validation.
* Contract and Tender Process Leadership: Prepare and manage contracts under AS standards, lead tender assessments, ensure compliance, and deliver value-for-money outcomes.
* Team and Resource Allocation: Allocate staff and contract resources, balance workloads, and provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.
* Progress and Financial Monitoring: Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly reports, manage subsidy claims, and track expenditure against budgets and key performance indicators.
