Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Electrician based in Bendigo, VIC. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components of industrial machinery and conveyor systems. Typical tasks include fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting in the commissioning of new systems. Adherence to safety standards and collaboration with engineers and other team members are integral to this role.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and wiring
Experience in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment
Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards
Proficiency in working with automated systems, PLC programming, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Relevant electrical trade qualification or certification (e.g., Electrical License in Australia)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills
Experience in the material handling or industrial equipment sector is considered an advantage
