Senior Professional Officer
We are seeking an experienced criminal lawyer and advocate to join our team as a Supervising Summary Prosecutor.
* Provide expert legal guidance on complex summary prosecutions
* Represent the prosecution in the Local Court and Youth Justice Court in the northern region
* Lead supervision responsibilities for a team of summary prosecutors
* Be admitted or eligible for admission as a barrister or solicitor of the High Court or a Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia
* Have significant experience in criminal law and advocacy, including Uniform Evidence Law
* Demonstrate high level communication skills combined with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
