The Position
We are seeking a Registered Midwife for a permanent part-time contract on our Obstetric ward. You will take time with patients and their families, supporting them through every step of their journey to being a parent.
* Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
* Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital.
* Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
* Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
* Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills. The Benefits
* Salary: $79,755 - $102,048 (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
* Permanent part-time position available

Requirements & Qualifiations
Registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife; demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction; well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
