About the Role
1. Play a lead role in further defining the Digital and Data Strategy with respect to the organisations transformational business objectives for data and the requisite information architecture current / target state and roadmap (including current / target state data architecture and platforms, data governance, advanced analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence etc.) and action plan;
2. Develop and maintain information architecture management principles, policy, taxonomies, standards and data models including defining rules for data ownership and business events in support of the effective governance, management and use of all information assets;
3. Develop and drive the information architecture and roadmaps for all information architecture domain including the definition of projects required as part of the roadmap implementation;
4. Lead the development of solution designs for all projects in the Information Architecture domain as well as information components of any other projects in the Digital Portfolio; and
5. Provide leadership to support the organisation to manage and leverage its information assets, leading to the establishment of formal and informal collaborative forums focused on information governance, data architecture, quality and data sharing.
About You
6. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Management or related discipline;
7. Accreditation in an industry recognised enterprise or information architecture framework / method and / or equivalent experience;
8. An in-depth knowledge of all information architecture sub-domains including information integration, master data management, enterprise reporting, content management, business intelligence, analytics and big data;
9. Proven track record in developing company wide information architecture, strategies, roadmaps and architecture governance including previous experience in the definition and implementation of strategies for master and reference data, data cataloguing, data fabric etc;
10. Proven track record in Enterprise Architecture specifically in driving the development of a practical and business value driven Information Architecture domain and its effective use by technology and the business;
11. Experience in leading and advising solution architects in the development of project relevant information and data architecture artefacts including data modelling standards and repository; and
12. Experience in the establishment of Enterprise Information Strategies and successful implementation of related Information Governance forums.
