We are currently seeking a skilled Procurement Officer with exposure to the Asia Pacific supply market.
The role involves sourcing and managing daily purchase orders within an assigned portfolio, ensuring that all purchasing activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert procurement services to support stakeholders
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value addition when entering into supplier agreements
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality of goods meets required standards
* Place orders at the optimum price after considering quality, quantity, and delivery requirements
* Support stakeholders through procurement processes
* Monitor delivery schedules and liaise directly with customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of procured goods and services
* Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
A background in mechanical maintenance or understanding of component repair programs is desirable.
A tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain management, business, finance, or related fields is highly desirable.
