We are inviting applications from highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Plastic Surgical Nursing to join our dedicated perioperative team
As a Clinical Nurse within our Plastic Theatre, you will bring exceptional communication, organisational, and leadership skills to this fast-paced and demanding environment. You will serve as a positive role model to your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and promoting the ongoing development of staff, while ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care are consistently delivered during surgical procedures.
About the role:
* Work cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team
* Educating junior staff in specialty
* Managing and organising Plastic Surgery needs for the department Including:
o Equipment
o Instruments
o Loan sets and implants
* Deliver evidenced based and quality clinical nursing care
* Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all staff
* Support management and embrace change and new initiatives positively
* Work effectively in a team environment, while managing own time effectively in a fast-paced setting

About you:
* Currently Registered as a Nurse with AHPRA
* Minimum 5 years' recent theatre nursing experience
* Previous experience working within peri-operative environment, and/or surgical nursing
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation
* Sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards
* Strategic minded thinker
* Ability to engage with all members of staff
* Excellent communication style – written and verbal
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Work collaboratively with the management team
* Proficient in electronic databases and ability to adapt to changing platforms
* Knowledge of labour management / KPIs

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses' & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement 'Agreement' or 'Enterprise Agreement')" (salaries range between $53.24 -$58.04 per hour).
