The Opportunity
Reporting to the Quality Improvement Manager, this role will focus on driving practical, on-the-floor improvement initiatives across an extensive manufacturing environment, supporting the rollout and embedding of key hygiene and quality programs while helping elevate standards across the site.
This is a highly operational role where you'll work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to validate cleaning processes, conduct verification activities, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
This role is predominantly based on-site at our Dandenong South location, home to our corporate office, factory operations, laboratories and pilot facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the rollout and embedding of hygiene and quality improvement programs across manufacturing operations
* Conduct hands‐on CIP and cleaning verification activities including swabbing, chemical checks, environmental monitoring and line inspections.
* Partner closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot and rectify hygiene and process control issues
* Perform GMP and quality walks to improve compliance, hygiene execution and operational standards
* Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities to reduce recurring quality issues and non‐conformances
* Support implementation of quality verification programs including environmental hygiene monitoring, pest control and process control activities
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen food safety, operational performance and quality culture across the site.
Skills & Experience
* 2–3 years' experience within a food manufacturing or quality environment. Hands‐on exposure to CIP systems within dairy or similar liquid processing manufacturing environments
* Experience working with food safety and quality systems including HACCP and GMP
* Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation and process verification activities
* Practical problem‐solving capability with the ability to identify issues and work collaboratively to resolve them
* A proactive, hands‐on approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across operational teams
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and food safety standards
