As a Home Care Worker, you will travel between client homes providing personalised care and support tailored to each individual's needs. This role offers meaningful work and the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of older people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, and mobility support
* Carrying out general household tasks like vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying
* Preparing light meals and supporting safe food storage
* Maintaining hygiene in kitchens, bathrooms, and shared spaces
* Providing social support or transport to appointments and community activities
* Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any concerns
* Supporting each client in line with their individual preferences, cultural background, and values
* Ensuring the home environment is clean, safe, and comfortable
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A caring and empathetic nature
* Excellent organisational skills and focus on creating safe environments
* Strong understanding of person-centred and community-based care
* Commitment to delivering high-quality support that meets client needs
* Able to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Mandatory Requirements:
* Nationally recognised Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification)
* Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with insurance
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications
* Working with Children Check (Employee)
* National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with organisational policy
