Our client, a well-established and highly respected construction materials manufacturer based in Dandenong South, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service/Admin support To join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while coordinating smooth and efficient despatch operations.About the Company Our client is a recognised leader in the construction materials sector, supplying essential products to major building and infrastructure projects across the region.

The Opportunity This is a customer-focused role where you will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring their orders are managed efficiently from placement through to delivery.
You will work closely with internal teams and transport partners to coordinate despatch activities while maintaining a high standard of communication and service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service as the main contact for order enquiries, delivery updates, and general support.
Coordinate daily despatch schedules to meet customer timelines and expectations.
Liaise with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated and fulfilled.
Maintain delivery documentation and accurate despatch records.
Monitor delivery progress, assist drivers, and proactively resolve issues that may affect customers.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and internal policies.
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
About You Experience Previous experience in customer service, logistics coordination, despatch, or similar roles.
Background in manufacturing or construction-related industries is highly regarded.
Customer-Centric Mindset Strong commitment to delivering outstanding service and building positive customer relationships.
Clear, professional, and confident communication skills.
Organisational Skills Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
Technical Ability Comfortable using ERP or logistics systems along with MS Office applications.
