**About the Opportunity**
As a Sterilisation Technician working within Bowral Hospital, you will be responsible for:
- Providing clean, sterile, and disinfected items and equipment to clinical departments across the hospital
- Preparing for daily operations and managing sterile stock rotation and control within the Operating Suite's sterile stock room
- Reprocessing flexible endoscopes in a dedicated scope reprocessing room within Perioperative Services
**About You**
What we are looking for:
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (mandatory)
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including all shifts across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
- A solid understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) and infection control principles within the CSSD environment
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, following the position description and hospital protocols
- Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with quality objectives and departmental standards

**How to Apply**
- Certificate II or III in Health Service Assistance (Sterilisation Services) or equivalent, along with experience working in a Hospital Sterilising Services Department with sound knowledge and understanding of AS 5369: 2023, Infection Prevention and Control and WH&S; requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as an integral team member under the guidance of a Staff Supervisor for the process of complex medical devices, including Orthopaedic loan equipment.
- Ability to prioritise and communicate workload to achieve quality and timely process outcomes.
- Sound communication ability with a high standard of written and verbal skills to ensure effective listening, understanding, and following directions.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays for the provision of a 7 day service to the Peri-Operative Services Department.
