Position Title:Temporary Finance Officer
Employment Type: Short-term Contract - Approx. 3 Weeks
Hourly Pay Rate: $40 per hour plus 12% super
Working Arrangements: Onsite
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Accounts Support Officer will provide essential assistance to the finance team during a short-term peak period. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting customer payment activities, and completing basic accounting tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform basic invoicing and assist with generating financial documentation
* Conduct overdue customer follow-ups via phone and email
* Complete payment verifications and update financial data
* Assist with basic journal postings under supervision
* Support basic reconciliations to maintain accurate accounts
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience in accounts or finance
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communication skills for customer follow-up
* Ability to manage workload independently
* Basic understanding of invoicing, journals, and reconciliations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Experience using Microsoft 365
