Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join our team in delivering comprehensive assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients across all ages and health conditions.
As a senior member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff while working collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of physiotherapy programs for adult clients within our Southern Area Brain Injury service (SABIS), ensuring optimal client outcomes and high-quality care delivery.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate interventions that promote physical and independent living skills in clients, aligning with their goals and needs.
* Provide outreach and inreach services to adult clients, leveraging telehealth capabilities as required, to ensure accessibility and quality of care within the wider SNSWLHD community.
Requirements
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
* Demonstrated extensive experience in rehabilitation, with a strong knowledge of brain injury services and the ability to work autonomously as a collaborative team member.
* Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, including effective stakeholder consultation and collaboration.
