We're looking for a proactive Purchasing Officer & HR/WHS Admin Support to join a well-established and growing transport manufacturing business. This is a dual-function role that will see you managing procurement activities, supporting operational administration, and assisting with HR and WHS processes. Who will you be working with?

You'll be joining a respected Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality truck bodies, trailers, and custom transport solutions. Known for their craftsmanship, reliability, and strong industry reputation, our client supports a wide range of customers across logistics, construction, and commercial sectors. You'll be part of a collaborative team working closely with the State Manager, HR/WHS, sales, engineering, and production departments to keep operations running efficiently.

What will you be doing?
* Building and maintaining strong vendor and supplier relationships
* Raising, processing, and tracking purchase orders
* Monitoring deliveries to meet production and customer deadlines
* Updating stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records through MYOB
* Preparing invoices, job packs, packing lists, and delivery documentation
* Forecasting stock requirements and identifying shortages
* Escalating critical issues to relevant stakeholders
* Assisting with HR and WHS administration under the State Manager
* Preparing reports, correspondence, and accurate data entry
* Inducting new starters and ensuring WHS procedures are completed
* Liaising with internal teams to support smooth workflow and excellent customer service
What do you need?
* Experience in purchasing, logistics or supply chain
* Proficiency in MYOB
* HR and WHS admin experience (advantageous)
* Experience in customer service or internal stakeholder support
* Be able to work and manage with others as part of a team
* Ability to motivate and excite staff
* Supervise and manage delegated staff when required
* Self-motivated with strong initiative
* Accuracy and strong attention to detail
* Ability to solve problems
* Ability to work unsupervised and see what needs to be done
* Be able to follow processes and procedures
