An exciting opportunity is available for an experiencedSenior Plannerto join a majorgreenfield Oil & Gas projectbased in Melbourne. This role is ideal for a proactive planning professional who thrives in complex construction environments and wants to play a key role from early works through to project delivery.
You will be responsible for developing and managingIntegrated Master Schedules (IMS)across engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and execution strategies. Working closely with construction, procurement, cost control, and site teams, you will produce Level 3–5 schedules, integrate subcontractor and vendor programmes, and support workface planning.
The role will see you actively monitoring site progress, performing CPM and Earned Value analysis, identifying schedule risks, and developing mitigation and recovery plans. You will also support delay analysis, "what-if" scenarios, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions where required. A strong focus will be placed on improving planning systems, progress measurement, and reporting efficiency, while mentoring project and site‐based planners.
To be successful, you will have5–10 years' experiencein construction planning, ideally withinOil & Gas, LNG, offshore, FPSO or large infrastructure projects, and be highly proficient inPrimavera P6with advanced Excel skills. Strong communication skills and the confidence to present schedule information to clients and senior stakeholders are essential.
