About the Waste Management Role
This is a casual opportunity to work in waste management and collection across various locations, including West Nowra, Huskisson, and Ulladulla. Work hours may vary depending on operational requirements.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate 2 in Waste Management or equivalent experience, along with previous experience in waste management or civil construction. A Class MR drivers licence is also required.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct recycling operations, including manual separation and using mobile plant or high-tech fixed plant and sorting equipment.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and council policies and procedures.
* Participate in morning and afternoon briefs to identify safety-related issues or operational improvements.
