Research Soil Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Soil Scientist to join our team. As a key member of the Soil and Landscapes Group, you will be responsible for conducting research aimed at improving our understanding of soil function and behavior in various landscapes.
Your primary duties will include:
* Collating and analyzing soil samples, including data processing and quality control
* Conducting fieldwork and laboratory analysis to collect and analyze soil data
* Developing and implementing new experimental methods to improve research outcomes
* Liaising with clients to determine their needs and develop solutions
You will work closely with colleagues to identify research problems and develop solutions. You will also contribute to the interpretation and communication of research results through presentations and reports.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of qualification and experience in soil science, agricultural science, environmental science, or a related field
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills in implementing field-based research and collecting and analyzing soil data
* Experience in working with datasets, including data management and version control
* Ability to travel and work in remote locations, including international travel
Please note that this is a specified term position for 3 years, with the possibility of conversion to indefinite tenure.
