Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fleet Controller / Allocator based at ATG Head Office in Brisbane, QLD.
Purpose: Schedule, allocate, and monitor fleet and drivers to ensure efficient daily operations.
Core Responsibilities
Plan and allocate daily runs, drivers, and vehicles.
Communicate with drivers regarding jobs, pickups, and delivery requirements.
Monitor fleet movements, delivery times, delays, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with fatigue, mass limits, load restraint & safe operations.
Update TMS/booking systems, run-sheets, dockets, and customer delivery notes.
Work closely with warehouse & customers to meet delivery time windows.
Minimise empty kilometres and maximise fleet efficiency.
Report delays, issues, or safety concerns to Lonhaul Manager.
Qualifications
* Fleet management, scheduling, and logistics coordination skills
* Proficiency in communication, relationship management, and customer service
* Problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities
* Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance
* Experience with fleet tracking systems and computer literacy
* Ability to manage on-ground issues and work under pressure
* Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a related field is preferred
* Understanding of road networks in Brisbane and other metro cities is an added advantage
* Valid driver's license
