The Role
The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is an historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. The whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver the cutting edge nuclear-powered submarine program will transform Australia’s economic and national security landscape for decades to come.
The SSN-AUKUS Program Integration Branch within SSN-AUKUS Division integrates program planning to ensure the Nuclear Powered Submarine program addresses Australian sovereign requirements and is ready to deliver and support SSN-AUKUS throughout the capability lifecycle.
As an APS 6 Integrated Project Manager, you will be involved in ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and ASA’s mission and policy requirements. This includes provision of detailed project management technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work and contribution to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.
The role includes extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement, supporting delivery areas plan and integrate their delivery activities. It also includes supporting governance processes, with preparation of presentations and associated documentation, including identification of risks and opportunities and associated options for decision maker consideration.
